Blogging with baby

Hello everyone and welcome to my newest adventure - blogging.

I figured that with a third baby on the way, there was no way I was going to journal massively like I did for Brody (the oldest), or marginally for Keaton (the 2nd born) - you moms of more than one child can absolutely identify with this I am sure. You know you have 1000s of pictures and hours of video of your first born, a few hundred pictures and minutes of video of your second born, and well, you hope to capture the birth and 1st birthday party of the third child. Am I right, or am I the only mom who has fallen short of memory keeping as each child is born?

Anyways, this is my ode to my third (and I think) final child's time in the womb and the adventures created by his/her siblings along the way.

Let talk first about how this little one has realized that to gain attention away from his (I am going to refer to the baby as "he" and him" since we are hoping for another boy - it will be a fun blog on the day we find out the sex if it's a girl...) siblings, Brody age 5 and Keaton age 3. Being the 3rd child, this one got our attention BIG time last weekend with being overly dramatic already (perhaps it is a girl....) Late Saturday I was having cramping and bleeding, reminiscent of the sad miscarriage I suffered in Spring, so we called the doctor who sent me in for an ultrasound. Much to our joy and thanksgiving to God, we saw a very healthy and bouncy baby on the screen - complete with two legs and two arms, measuring at 10cm (9.5 weeks). Apparently, the doctor said I am straining myself too much with various activities and causing blood vessels on my cervix to rupture, but causing no harm to baby at all.

Imagine that, me doing too much. I was only moving giant tubs of clothes to find the elusive OSU shirt that was Brody's to put on Keaton for the OSU v. Michigan game (of which, my team lost...) Anyways, I have decided to scale back a bit (no piano moving for me) but will still have a boat load of fun with my boys by doing every activity I can find under the sun.

So this is the start of my blogging, a scary, but happy ending event involving the little life that is growing inside my belly (as Keaton says, "There's a baby and food in there.") I am off to eat my S'Mores Pop Tart (I am obviously off the South Beach Diet) and follow it up with some fresh berries so I don't feel too guilty.
